i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

wow TG !!! those tanks are incredible that includes yours Wit the aquascaping is something I have a lot of trouble, although I have a hex so that's a challenge in itself

Purple tang, yellow tang, pacific blue tang, 2 green chromis, 1 Sand sifting star, snails, hermit crabs, 2 mated perculas, pulsing Xenia, Anenome, mushrooms, ricordia, zoanthids, kenya tree 1 1/2" tall, misc other hitchhiker stuff.
DIY is my dream... ...well OK the only way I can afford this Addiction!!
Just as the light goes on in my head... ... I break the bulb!!

120 gal/tank, custom overflow in center, closed-loop on a Squid, custom sump,Reef Concepts skimmer, CA reactor, Refugium gravity feed into tank, Lighting: 2 - 250 watt MH's, 4- 55 watt PC's, and 110 watt VHO.
12 gal NanoCube, with 2-32 watt PC's and a 13 watt PC, in a custom hood.

Wit, I trying to take the tank the next step now - was so concerned about getting everything in after the move that I put off scaping till the corals could recuperate. Like cheeks hex, it's a tough problem (a walkaround, no place to lean rocks against a wall).

cheeks, I'd love to see a pic of your hex!!!

Pro, Yeah, we gotta have Luis' tank here. His is my very fav, too - just incredible in every way!

Hi jupiter! You may be right about Chuck's tank. What he actually said was; "It went through some issues and had some severe problems. I eventually pulled my DSB after a big tank crash basically".
