Morning all - temp is 14F and with the wind it feels like 4F. Not much going on today - I'm trapped in the house because my car is getting worked on today.

Tank related: The shallow acryilc DIY "pan" that our sump will sit in (in the event the sump overflows it will overflow into this) held water last night....YIPPEE!!! I think we put 18 gallons in it.

Top of the mornin' to ya.

It's fairly cold here and there is a good chance of nasty weather in the next couple of days.

My garage door opener broke and our springs are not doing their job. The door is a very old and made of wood. As a result, we are having to leave the garage door open all of the time and it's making the house colder than normal and the furnace is constantly running. Oh well, at least I have a furnace.

Tank Related----I bought a yellow cup coral a couple of days ago and it's coloration is getting brighter in my tank than it was in the LFS.

Well it is a toasty 54 here & soggy, 60% rain this afternoon & 90% tomorrow! Last night I was up till 11 pm, blowing off rocks & cleaning up the edges of glass. The fish love it when I scrape the back glass releasing food into the water column, I also added the 50 micron sock for the next day or two. Pipe Organ was full of bubble algae, so I took it out and went to the sink, used exacto knife to remove as much as I could, I was scared of killing the coral but this morning it seems ok but still has some bubble left on it, this thing seem to collect waste & anything else that will grow on it. I try and keep lots of water blowing on it. I still dream of getting some MH one day but wedding plans seen to waken me up!

Hey now, in the low to mid 30s here. I have already been out on the farm doing some research for a couple of hours this morning. The rest of the day I will be writing and reading with my only break being RS and a trip to the LFS. Cyclop-eeze will hopefully be in my freezer by the end of the day...

Take er easy
