from a friend of mine I was wondering what type it is and where should I place it?

I will try. It looks like a bubble tip to me but I'm just not sure.

This is what I got:

Entacmaea quadricolor - Bubbletip (red/white/magenta/yellow variants)

This variant is common to pacific rim and scattered fields in the red sea.

In this case, a magenta. Albeit light. This is an educated (roommate did marine bio at UCSB) guess.

Could be wrong, givin' it a shot.

Right off Pacific Coast Highway up Topanga. 5 min from the beach.

Did you get a sonic boom last week from the shuttle? I listened....but nothing.

Yeah it was minor thugh. We get them all time because I actually work lose to the base in Mojave at the court hose and those puppies rattle the building.

Try living in Cocoa. It scares me all the time particularly night landings. The first boom wakes me up then I hear the second and it freaks me out till I remember the orbiter is landing.
I am just super glad it landed safely. First for the crew but second for my husbands job. The next accident will end the program even before the 2010 scheduled end date.

Actually it is pretty cool. My husband works there so I get to see lots of cool stuff. I have seen more launches than I can count and once got to see the 747 land with the orbiter on top. He was part of the retrieval crew so I got a pass to pick him up when they landed. Npw he is on the overseas retrieval crew so if it lands out of the Us (never been done) that should be really cool.
Sorry I am a bit of a space geek. I wish the program was not about to end and not just because he will be out of a job.

and space rocks... some times i water nasa tv just 2 see whats going on...

i have links to live satalite feed's space is cooll..... I only hope some day soon. (b4 we all blow each other up) that the valcans come down and show us that theres other life out there... and welcome to the space club.
