Milli's and flow

I know that milli's, all acro's enjoy turbulent flow, but where should I place my milli as a final placement? Right in front of the power head or indirectly in a high flow area?

As a gernal rule of thumb you never want to place any coral right in front of a powerhead. Since all the flow is concentrated in a small area, the velocity of the water flow will stress the coral or literally rip the flesh right off.
A. mille's and similar species seem to adpat pretty well to different flow conditions, I generally recomend an area of high flow, and preferably more random flow as opposed to linear flow.

most of the millepora I have are also about at the top of my rock too. They seem to love the light and the random flow like Mike said... My Nathan's green is so shaggy I could braid the polyps.

thats the one I've been looking for but didn't know the name (nathans). I found it at tropicaloceanreef.com in Flordia they are ORA frags. Anyone buy from this place before?

Mine have also seemed to look "hairier" with the more flow they receive

Just observation, have no idea if it is directly associated with the flow or not.

I wish I had a camera to post pics of some of my corals. Yes, the Nathans green is an ORA frag but mine came from LiveAquaria. I also have a Silver Bullet that has just now come around in the last few months with the neglect I gave the tank. It is getting more extended polyps and finally has turned into the silver/blue color.

Because the suction cups let go on my Seio ph's that exactly how I lost my Tri-color Acro

No direct flow but stong indirect flow will be perfect, just make sure you adapt the coral to your lighting before final placement !
