Somewhat unique new addition

A local reefer that I have bought/traded corals with in the past is taking down selling his setup after many years. I have always admired his Orange Spot Rabbit fish & today he came home with me. I have been looking for one for some time now & would much rather buy a fish locally than have it shipped in, so it works out great!

Picture really does him no justice, he is a beauty

He came from an mixed coral tank but from what I have read they are reef safe with caution...mostly softies are the worry if they are not fed well.

Re: Somewhat unique new addition

when I was gathering fish for my 120g I really, really wanted a rabbit fish. I never found one locally as I didn't want to have one shipped either. I ended up with a figi half black foxface, but now I so wished I'd of hung out a bit longer. That fish is awesome!!!!

Re: Somewhat unique new addition

I like all the Rabbit fish, They seem to have a really good record of being peaceful & hardy. About the only downfall is being venomous.

Re: Somewhat unique new addition

Seems my new Rabbit fish has an appetite for Zoanthids!!! Cleaned the entire tank in 2 weeks!!! I never seen him nipping but noticed they were starting to disappear.
