Good Monday Morning?

It's a brisk 15 degress here this morning but, with a high of 38 expected. We have a wintery mess so they say going to start later today. But, I hear mostly rain.

Very tired today after superbowl and survivor. After survivor was over heard they will show an oncore tues. Nice time to tell us.

Everyone have a great day and stay safe!

Tank related, our toadstool opened up in it's full glory yesterday after being closed up for about 5 days.

It is 52 here, little wet! Well our Breaux Bridge boy came close! For a Cajun, he was very impressive for the first year with this team, Jake Delhomme (Pronounced DEL-Lone)!

Good morning one and all! Hope everyone had a great weekend, and those who had to work, hope you had a great couple of days.

Enjoy this fine Monday morning everyone!

Tank related: Well, I've decided to have a bare bottom tank. Let me just tell you the decision was 2 days of agonizing.

Willmsbrg - Let me give you a couple of links that may help you get an understanding a few of the issues. Just remember whether or not you have a substrate, or what type you have is a personal desicion. No two tanks are alike - the important thing is to know what your systems pros and cons are:

Summary of Filtration Systems

DSBs.....Let's Discuss

This next one will help you get a grasp on what happens in a substrate:
Jaubert Plenum

Hope this helps!

Good morning and congrats to all you Patriots fans. What a great game!!!

As usual I was off on my prediction of the way the game would go, other than saying it would be close. I definitely now have a new found respect for the Patriots' O-line..they handled the front four of the Panthers magnificently. As I did say before...hard to go against Belichick, since the coaching was a big difference. Unlike a lot of people, I can't fault Fox for going for two when down 5 points. The play was there, they just failed to execute.

Good morning everyone, Great game 1/2 time sucked. IMO it was very bad. Well I am just a little bit sore today. I did a 5 mile hike. 2 1/2 miles in and 2 1/2 mile out with a 1400 elevation increase going in. The last 1/2 mile had an 800 elevation increase. That is the longest hike I have been on to date. Before that it was 3 miles so when my body got to 3 miles it was saying Ok I am done but I still had 2 more miles. Just think 4 months a go I had major surgery on my right shoulder. This was the first major thing I have done out side sense the surgery. Getting ready for my summer of SCUBA diving. 4 Trips in all.

Good Morning All! in the upper 40's here, only getting into the mid 50's today. A pretty good rain storm coming in today & tomorrow. Going for the blood work up & EKG today, in preparation for next weeks arthroscopic surgery of the knee. Not looking forward to that!
Tank related, have most of my various parts & pieces, just need to get the stand modified so I can move it into the room where I want it.
