| Cabbage Leather | wow! I really like the aquascaping. lots of smaller pieces of rock that leave you with plenty of ledges to perch corals on. can't wait to see the updates in the months to come. well done! just a tip, turn off the flash on the camera and you won't get that white splotch in the photos. |

| JoePa lives on!!! ![]() | I am debating over that....i know i want a flame angel and i am wondering if i should go with 2 tangs or 3 or 1 for that matter. What do you think my limit is with all i have in there now?

| Regular Guy Moderator ![]() | [b]Really depends on your sytems ability to perforn denitrification and Dissolved Organic Compound removal. Two of the same sized tanks with different waste processing/removal capacities can accomodate different bioloads. How much LR, skimming capacity, cleaning crew, sump, refugium, mechanical filtration, etc. do you have? How long has your tank been set-up? Are you anticipating a full blown reef or FOWLR? The general rule of thumb is 1"of mature fish, not the cute little juveniles in the LFS tank, per 5 gallons. Simple math says that you can have 18" of fish. There is a pretty good safety factor in that guideline. One tang can range between 8" -15" depending on the species. Lighting will determine what types of corals you can keep. HTH ![]()
