Acro Still Alive

As some of you know I bought an acro that went RTN on me a few days after I got it. I left the skeleton in the tank to lazy or shocked to remove it. I've also been fighting with bubble algae adn cyano as well, so the tank lights have been blakced out. One evening I turned on the actinics and noticed a glow from what else than that same dead acro. The piece that is alive is in the center of the photo I am so excited!

See they weren't kidding when they said patience is the key to this hobby. If you had thrown it away it would definitely be dead. Karma to you.

Thanx vdituri I was definitly going to toss it but couldn't muster the strength sure glad I didn't.

I would frag off that little piece you still have before you loose that also. I hate to say it but it looks pretty bad from that picture and algae that will grow on the dead part will just over welm the living tissue.

The piece that is alive is in the center of the photo I am so excited! __________________ 100 Gal w/ 55 Gal Sump, (2) 250 watt MH's, 220 watts VHO, Fish: Lawnmower Blenny, Pair Ocellaris Clowns, Royal Gramma, Yellow Watchman Goby, Rainsford Goby Coral: Neon Green Candycane, Brown Candy Cane, Purple and Blue Candycane, GSP-green, Palythoas, Montipora Digita (Green and Purple), Montipora Nodosa, Acro's, Neon Green Favia, Sun Coral, Cynaria, Zoanthids Shrimp: Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, 2 Peppermint Shrimp, Tiger Pistol Shrimp Clam: (2) Crocea, That's what I love about saltwater tanks. You get God's best!!
