Rowa Phos

I am having a little buildup of red-slime algae on one corner area of my sand. I have tried to siphon what I can, and I have also tried to get more circulation to that area. Before it gets out of control, I wanted to deal with it. My LFS recommended that I use Rowa Phos to lower the phosphate levels. I am going to continue to siphon what I can daily until the issue is resolved. I just wanted to know if you guys have used this product, and would you recommend it? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use phosban, which is similar to rowa. It definitely wont hurt to try it. I Use phosban 24/7. A couple other things to check on or think about are the bulbs. How old are they? , How much are you feeding? Do you have a good cleaning crew?

I use Rowa and it works great for me...my 2 cents...Blue has you covered otherwise...

The bulbs are only 3 months old. I will work on the feeding and ramping up the cleaning crew. Thanks.

Rowa is great stuff. I recomend starting at half doseage for a few weeks before going to full dosage since all iron based phos removers are very effective.
