Why won't my QT finnish cycling?

Set up a my QT about two weeks ago and added some shrimp to kick the cycle (just a cube of mysis). Moved a canister filter I had running on my DT for a week to the QT and got an ammonia spike two days later. third day no ammonia and nitrites rising. Trites leveled and stay now for about a week. I have thrown some LR from my sump in there to try and drop the trites but still no change. Am I just being impatient or what. Anyway to speed this up?

What if you add some bacteria?

My closest LFS doesn't carry the bacteria for cycling. And they have the fishy I want.

It's only been two weeks. Like woody said, patience. Three or four weeks is normal.

Trust me it is 4 weeks, and all efforts to fix that will make it worse (it is like watching a pot boil)!

i did 2 week jump start... then 2 weeks empty with adding food
