| Bryozoan | Tank 2 months old, I see my first velonia bubble which of course is at the very base of one of my rocks where it is touching the sand. This stuff was a medium level problem in my last tank (7 years ago). I'd hate to pull out all the rocks right now. Is this likely to spread? In small quantity, these things are pretty cool, but if they become a plaugue, it's quite annoying - as you all know.

| Brunt of all Jokes~ ![]() | Re: Tank 2 months old, I see my first velonia bubble Hey Flier, if you have high levels of nutrients they will spread, I like the look of them myself and they seem to come and go, bare in mind that each bubble contains thousands of new ones so dont burst them! drain them dry with a syringe then remove the skin.Steve |

| Bryozoan | Re: Tank 2 months old, I see my first velonia bubble I have nearly zero nitrates, not sure if other sorts of things would contribute to their growth. Anything I should test for? How does one use the syringe as described above?
