I like to order some snails and crabs online, anyone knows a good place to buy it online. saltwaterfish have free shipping on orders $79+, is there another place for it?

If you are looking for cleaning crew type stuff I like etropicals.com and build your own.... eTropicals.com - Live fish, corals, inverts, plants, live rock & sand

Saltwaterfish.com is also a good place to get stuff from....

Thanks for the help, since I am not ordering a lot. don't wanna spend $80 on inverts and then $40 on shipping.

that is a problem i ran into as well. its just hard to place small orders because shipping is so expensive. i think that is why most places offer "cleanup crew" packages. its just the most cost effective way to order. the other option is to get a local pet store to order your snails for you. theyre usually a little more expenive, but not as much as shipping would cost.

etropicals has free shipping for cleanup crews of $60.00 or more. Most on-line vendors have free shipping once you spend a certain amount but that is the lowest amount I have run across for free shipping.

I just checked my on line, there clean up crew packs for 70 to 90 gallons are 199.95 +box+heatpacks+shipping+13% tax , ouch!!!
60 blue leg, 10 red,20 astrea,20 margarita, 20 cerith, thats Canada dollars so a bit less than US. Steve

I personally dont like saltwaterfish.com I have ordered a few things fromthem in the past. Actually I ordered Some inverts Fromthem the other day. (snails). They ship alot of their inverts w/o water. Alll of the snails i revieved were either dead or died after one day. I stick with live aquaria or etropicals. Build your own packages plus free shipping. And these two companies have the BEST warrantee anywhere.

thanks, i'll give etropical a try tonight. i had order from Foster & Smith before but mostly dried food. they are good

did not realize that etropical is part of live aquaria ==> Drs Foster & Smith

i personally have never had anyhting arrive in no water from saltwaterfish, always a lot of water, but liveaquaria is great too

i aggree with boomer! All my clean up crews have come from reeftopia.com they are awesome great to work with and great prices! Check out the batch prices too!
