| Bryozoan | ? on ro/di water I'ts Sunday( Easter sunday) and all the stores are closed today. I have to top off my tank because the water in the chamber is very low. My question is all I need is a gallon. I'ts a 29 gallon. Is there any type of water I can buy from the grocery store to bring the level back up?I am new to this and I was told not to use tap water. Thanks! |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: ? on ro/di water Distilled water would be the best. You can also sometimes find bottled RO water. Either one will do in a pinch. If you don't have your own RO system most LFS sell RO or RO/DI water for less money than you will spend at the grocery store. You have to bring in your own containers though.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: ? on ro/di water Many grocery stores or places like Wal-Mart have "water machines" that dispense VERY good quality RO/DI water. I used the water from my local grocery store for a LONG time...until I got tired of lugging 5 gallon buckets back & forth...and bought my own RO unit.
