what is this??

these appear on the front glass of our tank from time to time. does anyone
know what these are???

Not Shuree, But I have had things that are similar on my glass. Mine are eggs from small limpets that I have.

They are just another type of snail, but i dont think that is what they are... even though i dont know what to say about them, some kind of eggs forsure! Or even an ameba!

I have "limpets" eeverywhere in my 12 gallon nano. They only came out at night, and eat algae.

they are snail eggs for sure, if you looks closely at them on certain days, you can actually see the baby snails inside..i believe the picture you posted is a sack from either nerite or strombus...what type do you have in your tank?

its most definatly spawning season for the reefs. ive seen snail eggs all over my tank, and there has been quite a few "whats this" threads with similar pics of snail eggs.

so put on some barry white, and get those verts and inverts a lovin'!

i had both, but i think i have nerites, do strombus look like turbos??
