Snow Day Morning!

Good Morning All,

Well, trying to decide if I should go to work or not. We got I hear about 8 inches of snow through the night. Now, they say we could expect freezing rain on and off all day. I have no weight in the back of my truck and it is not 4 wheel drive so, I have to think about this one.

Hope everyone has a good day and especially if you live on the east coast....stay safe!

We are supposed to get 2-4 inches. Not enough for me, I need 10+. Oh well winter is not over yet.

Work ought to be nice and slow today won't be as many truckers out.

Good Morning, all. We received quite a few inches yesterday, and now we are having freezing rain. The drive is supposed to be terrible. Good thing I'm not going out this morning.

Tank related: performed my usual maintenance this morning....the glass is not cracked anywhere.

Well, we got about 6" on the ground. I hate it here in OH. Most of these people have lived here all of their adult lives and they still don't know how to drive in this mess. It makes getting to work dangerous.

Needless to say, I got here safely. Normally a 30min drive, today just short of 1 hr.

I got 160lbs of salt and sand in the back of my pickup. I makes for better traction.

Good Mawnin' to all of you! Jeff (Stang69) led me to this board.

My area of SC has a covering of ice all over everything. Soooo...as you might suspect, everything is closed!

Thanks, Jeff, for the introduction.

It did get cold last night. The heat came on for the first time in about a week. I worked on the tank all weekend. I took everything apart under my tank except the sump. I had to plumb in my new Kalk reactor. That was fun. I had to put shelves in. Everything is ok, except I now have a leak somewhere or I have some left over water that has not evaporated, I will check when I get home. Right now its 42 F and we will get up to 62F. Oh yah I found out something. When I was moving things around I found some how I had plugged my heater into my lights timer. No wonder my temps at night would drop.

Hello, here in Nebraska it rained yesterday morning then froze into a half inch of ice. Shortly after it started a light snow that has accumulated into a foot plus. Now that everything is closed down the wind has picked up to 30mph gusts and is drifting the snow over my trucks hood right now. Better go dig out, talk to you later.

Some one wanna tell me about it?

We had 1.3 inches of sleet/freezing rain and a light snow here in STL and I had to work 18+ hrs to take care of it (plow and salting)

now I woke up this moring and heard that we gonna get 2-7 inches (BTW could they narrow that down for us?) of snow great another 18-24hr stretch of work.... all at one time.

I hate snow, I want to live on the equator, next to the ocean
