Where is your chronicles thread, I'd like to see what kind of growth you are getting with your T5's.

Posting pics on RS

...just put the URL in the [.img]urlgoeshere[./img] brackets
(remove the "." period! I used them so they would display)

Or click the Picture Icon above the posting box (next to the font icons); it looks like an envelope with a mountain on it. Click on that icon then past the URL in there

yup, the first is a ORA rose millepora the second is Green Stylophora and the third, you are correct again, its a green montipora digitata. can not really tell because of my photo skills but my clams have done well also under the T5's. in fact i had to change up my bulbs and go with some not so intense ones. that and i let my reflector get kinda of humm "warn" so as to reduce the lighting. yup thats right reduce it. here are the clams i added at around the same time i got the frags. each set is the same clam, i am just hit and miss with good pic's and not so good ones.

Re: 6 months in sps frags growth in 6 months. some eye candy

Well, just to let you know that is about the same growth rate I got under T5's, can only compair the green montipora digitata. However, I just got a Rose Milli (by the way I switched from all T5's to Halides) and I am curious to see the growth difference between the lights now.
One thing I did see a major difference in and that is my purple rim cap. Under the T5's it didn't cup, it grew out flat, now it's really cupping.
Thanks for sharing.

humm now thats interesting. and gives me a reason to post a couple more. it just so happens that i have a couple montipora capricornis a orange one and a purple one. i broke the orange one messing with it so i now have two frags, but both came from the same original frag. it was and is starting to again cup but the purple, well check this out. here are the two when i got them and now.

here they are now.
