BigReepher Returns

Hello BigReepher it looks like you haven't posted in........OVER A YEAR! First off let me just say I apologize for not posting while I was lurking, absolutely no excuse for it. I'm also still into reefs hot and heavy. Still learning and loving everyday. My 20g skimmerless tank is still goin strong and is almost 5yrs old. My 75 has been a rollercoaster ride. Just when I think things are going good and I'm on my way to stellar success, things fall apart. Red bugs, tempature crashes and spikes, slow tissue necrosis(STN), rapid tissue necrosis(RTN), all types of algae, over and under dosing, stuck float switch, you name it and this tank has probably had it happen. Thoughts of giving it up have crossed my mind lately, which is one of the reasons why I'm posting again. I've come too far and learned too much to let it go. Basically I just needed to let the reefing community know and reassure myself, that I'm not going to give up. You'll be hearing from me again soon.

Re: BigReepher Returns

Welcome back. Looks like not everything is bad. That is some awesome growth. It's interresting that the small tank is fine and the larger one is giving you troubles. Don't give up. You and your reef will get through this. Let us know if there is any way we can help.
