HIGH MAG!! Help!!

My Mag = 1720, I am only using lime water and no other supplements. What is raising this?? How bad is this for my corals and my fish???

10/21
Mag = 1200 Ca = 420
12/9
Mag = 1540 Ca = 428
1/25
Mag = 1720 Ca = 432

Check your source water. Do a water change as long as the source water is lower. Good luck, Karma too!

PS - What is your alk? Anything recently added to the tank (new corals, supplements, change in food???)

Out of source water right now, will do a test on it as soon as I get some more.
My other params are:
PH 8.0
Trates 10
dKH 8

i rec, no changes and let it drop naturally....test make up water and go from there~

Wit, problem is its not dropping its climbing. Could Mississippi lime water do this? I/O salt? these are the only things I'm adding.

I/O is fairly low in mag, though it does have some it does not have anything near what you are stating. What test kit are you using and have you double checked the test?

Can you test the Mississippi Lime Water?

cause i got 1390mag and about 410 ca

From what I understand if your Ca and alk are constant, than Mg should not be going up. I would test the water you are doing your water changes with. Also double check the test kit.
