| Tubeworm | Six Line Twitching My sixline keeps twitching and doing somewhat of a flip at the same time. He does this occasionally. He doesnt have any spots or anything on him and he does seem to eat plenty when I feed the tank. Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate are all 0. My calcium is at 440 and alkalinty at 10. Ph is at 8.3. I only have two fish in my 40, the sixline and the gold band maroon clown. What could be wrong with him? |

| Acropora ![]() | Re: Six Line Twitching Is he rubbing up against anything, like trying to scratch? It sounds to me like there is something either in his gills or on his body that is irritating him, but hard to tell. How long ago was the fish introduced in the system and was he QT'd before?

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: Six Line Twitching There might not be anything wrong with your wrasse....he may be trying to make friends with his reflection in your tank....next time he is doing it see if you can see his reflection in the glass from his angle ...I had one that always did that.....I think it might be a mateing thing.....when the lights are just right in your tank and in the room your tank is in, your fish can see their own reflection......

| Golden Moray | Re: Six Line Twitching My six-line (fat little pig that he is) does the same thing... it seems to me it's not abnormal for them to twitch like that. My six-line is very healthy and active... he's an awesome hunter, occasionally you will see him playing with a mini starfish just before eating him. Cool Fish! |
