Unhappy very very very bad time!!!!!!!!!

hey all fellow friends. i've been missing for some time. the reason for that is because i've been going through serious rough time. this is what happen. i was admitted in the hospital for a week coz i was suspected to have dengue fever. since my mum n gf has no idea bout saltwater aquarium, my protein skimmer spilled out the skids back into the tank. n when i got home from the hospital, its all gone. my fish, my corals. all gone. its really devastating. n for now, i'm out from this hobby for time being man. coz i've spent alot of $$ on it n as a student, i can't afford to rebuild it. sad to say, but no more saltwater tanks for time being. but as i m really into saltwater tanks, i'm sure i will come back. not now but some time. maybe after i start working. but definately i will come back. but i will be here in RS as i think this is my chance to learn everything bout saltwater. n i'm very sure that this is the best place i can learn it.
well, i've recovered from my fever n heart pain of the loss. so i guess its time for me to grool on other's tank now till mine is there to be grooled on in future. i will never learn enough from u guys. so, i hope u guys don't mind i'm still being here disturbing all of u with questions. hehehe.
thats all for now.
I'M BACK.

Re: very very very bad time!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry for the trouble you have been having. I hope that somehow, you are able to get back into the tank soon.

I'm glad you are still around tho - better to lose the tank than to lose you.

Please take care of yourself. There will always be another tank...

sorry for the loss !!! Any genetic backup with friends? hacking a colony in half and giving it to a friend can sometimes payoff be generous in this hobby your own corals might restock your tank later!

Sorry to hear about your hospital stay and tank crash.
I'm sure you'll be up and running before you know it.

Sorry for your loss...

Just think now when you get back into it you would have learned from your past mistakes and your new tank will be better than the one that was just lost.

Karma to you!

Re: very very very bad time!!!!!!!!!

thank u very much guys. u all are so kind. yeah, everything happens in life for a reason. maybe the reason is for me to save enough money to start a big tank compared to a nano that i lost. anyway, i've given my live rock, filters, lights n the tank itself to my best friend as he wants to use it for his hospital tank. so, it didn't go waste afterall. thanks for all the kind words guys n thanks for the karma too.
