lime green algae

Can anybody ID this lime green algae? It is not powdery, and is not hair like, and is VERY difficult to remove. It's on a few of my rocks.

Re: lime green algae

If it is hard then I vote corraline as well. If not then I have no clue.

Re: lime green algae

Welcome Mike.
I had no idea that was you.
Cool!
Hmm We replaced the bulbs shortly before we got our mh lights. We probably ran them a month or 2 then however long you have had them. They should be fine for a while yet maybe 4 months running or something like that. Should have plenty of juice left in the bulbs. Wish I had an id for you, but glad you finally joined us here on RS.
