| Torch coral | Anenome Dilemma! Ok here is my dilemma.. I got a light setup for Christmas and everything was going great.. it was working good but now less than a month after receiving it the white bulbs are flickering and sometimes staying on and sometimes not coming on at all.. so I need to send it back.. but here is the problem.. my gf has already got me an anenome.. will the anenome be ok for the time it takes to send it back and get a replacement with my old hood lights that had coralife 50/50's in it or is my anenome going to die because of this? I do not really have the money to get a new light and then return this one and get credit.. I am awaiting a response from Stu at FinsDepot now.. I am sure he will take care of me since his customer service has been excellent thus far.. A light is a big investment and I would rather return it when it is partially working now as opposed to when it is not working and I am stuck later.. ya know? I do like the setup and want the same one though. Feedback?

| Acropora ![]() | Re: Anenome Dilemma! Norm.... it will be fine as long as all other parms are ok. There are several cloudy days on the reef in the winter... if the tank is close to a window you can always use a little natural sunlight to light the tank...

| Brunt of all Jokes~ ![]() | Re: Anenome Dilemma! Hi Norm! first check your bulb installation and make sure the ends are well engaged, with lights in the ON position run your hand down the bulb and see if it lights up, this could be a ground problem, could be a bum bulb, could be the timer if you have one, could be a send it back for repair(if you got it at your LFS they should just exchange it) good luck and speedy mail.
