| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Light shopping Once upon a time, that company (Pet Liquidators IIRC) had a great reputation. Then, apparently, there was a change in management, and their reputation went quite a ways the other direction. I have heard that they're getting better, but after some of the bad stuff about 3 yrs ago, they'll never get another dime of mine. I used to highly recommend "Cool Touch Lighting" found on e-bay as well, but too many people have had troubles with their products in recent years as well, so I quit recommending them. Beware of Oddysea lights too...VERY poor customer service behind what is apparently cheap Chinese knock-off products.

| Re: Light shopping I have had good luck with Orbit and Finnex fixtures. You will always have people complain about a particular brand, just like cars, some people will swear Ford is the best some say Ford is junk I even have a friend who swears he will never but another Porshe because it is junk, but this is a hobby of you get what you pay for, so I would stay away from the "bargain" systems. |
