Torch Coral Emergency

My sixline wrasse just bit the "little hand" of the torch coral which it used to filter feed. Is my torch doomed or is it gonna be able to survive without it? I thought six lines were reef safe...

Hi Damselino, if the torch was healthy it should be fine,and will regrow, a picture would be helpfull. We have a sixline and they can be pretty food aggresive, maybe the torch had a bit of food there? Steve

Steve answered it very well... Sixline is a very agressive fish... My buddy had one with triggers and it actually chased them around.. Crazy Fish!
