Can you submit a picture? It would be helpful. Maybe it's a Sea Hare? They usually have an internal shell and they look like slugs.

this is a limpet...I know exactly what type of critter you're talking about, I used to have them in my reef tank. They are called a limpet.

does the shell look like a flattened cone with a lil hole in the top, if so its a limpet, aka "Opihi"

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Limpets look like chinaman hats, cone shaped shell w/a hole in the top. Maybe it's a black one-eyed people eater.

Re: whats up my fishy friendz, quatersized flat worm help

Fishheads: I may have ID'd your flartworm. I consulted Julian Sprung's book, "Invertebrates-A Quick Reference Guide"and found what you describe as a Scutus cf. unguis or black limpet. It says that "...it is easily mistaken for a sea slug until its shell is revealed." It also states "...it is a good herbivore. Unfortunately it eats live coral too!" It hails from the indo-Pacific. Look this up in your references to see if this is it. Good luck!
