feather duster?

While relocating a feather duster, the feather radiole fell out of its tube body. The feather radiole seems to be ok. It has since opened back up. Is this ok? Will it grow a new tube?

Hi!

If the head fell off, it will grow a new one. If the entire worm slipped out of it's tube, carefully place it where you want it to be, (protect it if possible) and it will create a new tube in a matter of days.

Both have happened in my tank, and the dusters healed fine!

It will regrow its tube fairly quick, but in the mean time some fish may take the opportunity to get a nice snack.
