| Cabbage Leather | What is this??? Saw this in my sump today. What is it?? Is it a limpet?? It has small tentacles coming out from the front and the whole body is striped.

Mike, though it looks a bit like a Eunicid worm, the "head" is different. I think what you have, Kevin is a Synaptula lamperti -- there are a couple good pictures here: >ReefImages< and here: >ReefImages< And here is a small article on these critters: >Synaptid sea cucumbers Family Synaptidae I believe they are as relatively "reef-safe" as other Holothurians. I'll see if I can get Boomer in here for more info. and a positive ID.
