Talking Good Morning!

How's everyone today? At least it's not Monday.

We're enjoying our last day of relative "warmth" here (20's) - after today, we're supposed to get some record-breaking cold - worse than last week, and colder than NH has seen in decades.
Check it out (attached - how's that for nasty?!?)

Not too much new going on here - you probably read Don's thread about installing new lights on the 'fuge and frag tank, so that's pretty cool.

I need some new stuff in the tank, but it's too darn cold to ship anything!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Good Morning....feeling sleepy this a.m. Didn't get much in the way of sleep last night. Hohum - hopefully I'll get to bed early tonight.

Tank Related: I'm continuing to acquire all the necessities for my system. I'm picking up my return pump this afternoon (if it came in that is ).

Supposed to start to drop in temp in my area. It is currently 32* and falling. Chance of more snow later this week. Hopefully not 6" again. Not that the wheather man is ever right.

Tank system:
I almost have my CLS setup and ready to turn on the switch. I just have to figure out how to get all the sand out and try to reuse the water. So, not to have a major water change in the whole ordeal. I'm sure the light bulb, in my head, will come on, I just hope that I don't break it when it does.

Should be a good game for sure. I'm not going to be overconfident, but I do have faith in my team. Pats all the way!!

Let's see ....

P. Manning & Indy ....

0 -4 lifetime in New England

Could not get a single point when he had 1st and goal from the 12" line, at home, with the game on the line.

Patriots/Brady ...

Have now won 13 consecutive games, a team record and best in the NFL this year. Their record at home is 9-0.

Brady has yet to lose a playoff game -- this was Brady's 14th victory when tied or coming from behind in the fourth quarter in 47 career starts, and his fifth this season alone. He's a ludicrous 14-1 in games decided by seven points or fewer.

The conga line of the teams that have lost to the Pats is forming over there to the right. What? You already have a place in that line? No problem, we allow you to hold more than one place. See? Over there are Miami and Tennessee ... already doing a nice job of doubling up...

Immunology at 1 and Lactation at 4 (who would have thought an entire class could be devoted to lactation???). Have a good one...

Take er easy

Top of the morning to ya'

Tax season has officially hit but a couple of the huge projects I've been working on are finally coming to a close.

I don't know the temperature here in St. Louis but it sure doesn't feel like January. It has felt like April at times. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. There's a common saying in St. Louis---If you don't like the weather, just wait 12 hours.

I cannot even discuss football at this point. After watching some of the Rams game on Saturday, I think I need a little time to heal and go through the 7 steps of grieving.

So today I had to get my sorry butt out of bed to get to class. Ugh... Anyway, not much more to go and then I will be through with it.

Teri your Pats will definitely have some home field advantage again this week if the weather gets as cold as they say it is going to. Ouch to be a fan you must be CRAZY!!!!!

Kurt, your in America not Ireland (Top of the morning to ya) and you guys play American football and Soccer. Football is a game invented by us Brits and uses a round ball without shoulder pads and crash helmets ....

G'mornin all. Woke up early so I picked up my trusty red flashlight and went spying for nighttime critters. Spotted a small light cream colored Xenia crab tucked in the Xenia we introduced a month ago. Surprise! Also spotted a big ol' brittle star heretofore never seen. It's a good morning!

Still fighting the battle with my new Canon A70. It seems I have to upgrade my RAM in order to work the software. Thus all my photos remain on the card. Sigh. Maybe I can get out today to get that done.

My big task today is to host a lecture by a high-end specialist on erectile disfunction after prostate cancer treatment. Luckily he is quite the comedian. Should be fun.

Climate holding steady in the 50s.

Good Morning All!
Pretty much a down day today. Foggy & cool again here. In the 40's but supposed to get into the upper 50's. (Mark, that's plain MEAN to the folks in the cold country! ) Fish order from Marine Depot Live has been delayed for a day or 2 due to lack of inventory on a couple of things on our group order. No problem, I can wait. Doctor took me off work for another month again yesterday, still waiting for the arthroscopy of my knee. (oh joy.) Hopefully, I can get the new 180 going before I get that done, or else it will have to wait another month or so.
Everyone be careful out there!

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
