| Plate Coral ![]() | Thanks for the kudos guys!!! Gina, this tank was in the making for a year and a half with all that time now I look back and there are so many things that I would have done different, obiously having more space would make things much easier for me. about quemical warfare,...I decided to stay sps dominamt in the tank and do the zoanthid/ricordia in the bottom part of the tank to avoid a conflict, the only way that would be a problem Is if the zoanthids start growing on the rock were the sps are they with time could sofocate the sps , so I try to keep them with a reasonable distance, as for the sps you got to keep an eye on them they will grow really fast, and with a 90 gls wich is a small tank can really get outgrown within a year or more, good circulation and good skimming is a good way to avoid any type of quemical warfare, I also added an extension to this system that is a 33 gls long wich I keep things that I wouldnt be able to have in the display without creating a bit of a conflict, the colors are really a cheat I live on a 10th floor sunny apartment and I get so much sunlight directly to both tanks on top of that I have 2 400w 20k & 2 96w actinicsis like having Iwasakis & radiums combo without noticing tyhe yellowish tone of tha sakis, I hope I can be able to upgrade to a bigger system this year ... will see if things work fine for me I might go for a 180 or a 240 something withing that range. thanks so much for the kudos again and I will keep them comming whenever I get a little chance ![]() |
