Most Centropyge sp. are not destructive but can irritate corals. The first thing to keep in mind is they are grazers and will nip EVERYTHING ! Now there's some corals that they tend to consistently pick and that is zooanthids, open Brains and Clam mantles these should be completely avoided. I have kept many different Centropyge including a Potter's and have NEVER seen one eat corals. The Potter's don't ship very well so it's difficult to find a robust one but if healthy and added to a MATURE system they will do well, the one I had was the most beautiful dwarf I ever had.

I do agree with this to a point and I'm well aware of the mortality rates but there are just some fish that because of certain dietary needs they are just impossible to keep long term in captivity and should be completely avoided...the MI comes to mind.

| Neon dottyback | Re: Angels in a reef tank... Robert, I gotta agree with you on the beauty of the Potters. I have had quite a few centropyges over the years all going great in my reef tanks, but the potters was hands down the most incredible in color.
