| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Ich treatments The only way to remove ich totally from the tank is to leave the tank empty of all fish for the entire life cycle of the ich (6 weeks) while treating all fish in the qt with either copper or hyposalinity. Then all new fish need to be in QT for the sam 6 week time period for ovservation and if necessary treatment with either copper or hyposalinity. There are several good articles at the beginning of this thread that explain the process and why it is necessary in great detail. You should definitely read them.
