should i be concerned about this

well, this is weird, my linckia seems to be interested in my crocea.

i know linckias are reef safe, and i can't find any reference to them eating clams. i'm *thinking* he's just eating something that's on the shell. the clam didn't close up yesterday in response to this, and he looks like he's going to open again this morning. but i just wanted to clear my head, is this something i should be worried about/intervene on?

please advise!

my linkia would do this sometimes w/ my clams and no harm ever came to the clams

one cant say for certin but, imo, the crocea should be fine

The clam should be fine. I have never heard of linkias eating clams or any other coral for that matter.

...if it were a chocolate chip starfish, I would be very worried!
