| Acropora ![]() | What would you do? Ok here is the deal without mentioning names... I ordered a piece of coral from one of our sponsors, it was supposed to be shipped out on such and such a date the week before I went on vacation. Two days before I left I hadnt heard anything and was worried they might ship while I was away. I called the vendor and was told the shipper/email guy had a family emergency and was out for a few days but that they could ship it overnight so I would have it before I left. I wasnt sure that was the best idea because I was going away and if something was wrong with it I wouldnt be there to handle it but wasnt 2 worried since it was a zoa. I got the shipment and was very surprised to see an extremely large rock covered in polyps. I only have a 29 gallon tank and was very unsure where I could fit this in. After HOURS of rearranging and stressing my entire tank I just kinda propped it up in the back (all this time I shoulda been packing) When it finally opens up it was the WRONG zoa No time to do anything about it since its late and IM late I head out to the airport. Coresponding back and forth with the owner of the shop he sends me an email telling me there was a mix up , the piece I ordered is GONE and asking what he can do for me so I am satisfied... The coral is OK its not what I ordered and it takes up half my tank I honestly have no clue what to tell him so i figured I would bounce it off the forum for help...

| Hey!Its not my fault ![]() | Re: What would you do? well it sounds like he wants to work with you,, If its bigger than what you expected you may have got a more expensive piece to begin with... I would just keep it and maybe sell it or trade it at your lfs for more.. You prob got the better end of the deal..

| Star Polyps | Re: What would you do? G'day dude Have you purched from this guy before?for experiance sake (if it was me)i would frag it seeing as though your stuck with it! until further notice. Or divide the frags and sell, it may lead to a better situation.

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: What would you do? Sounds like you are receiving good customer service. Receiving a coral that is too large or larger than you wanted is a rare occurance but definately a problem I would like to have ![]() Frag it and sell the leftovers to local reefers!
