120 RR Update w/Pics

Well, here are some recent pictures that I just took. Went shopping at LFS and came home with lots of new stuff like shrooms, cardinals, red scooter blenny & a new orange diamond goby. I am attaching Photobucket thread. Hope you all enjoy!

Lin

P.S. the dates next to the corals are when they were added to tank.

Re: 120 RR Update w/Pics

Steve, the LFS that I shop at is located about 4 hours away from me. The only time I get to go there is when I go to LA to see my sisters. Almost everything in our tank was purchased on-line. To be truthful, the best on-line purchases that I have made have been with our sponsors. There is only one vendor that I use that is not a sponsor. PM me if you would like more information on this.

Re: 120 RR Update w/Pics

Be aware that the scooter blenny is actually a dragonet, and needs large pod populations to survive. SOME will adapt to prepared foods, sadly, most don't and starve in our tanks.

Re: 120 RR Update w/Pics

BoomerD, I have a very healthy supply of pods and just recently added breeders to my fuge along with a pod mat. He and the Diamond Goby are both tank raised and also eat prepared foods. Double checked that with my guy at the LFS that I go to in Monroe LA. I really try to get tank raised and aquacultured items. All of the shrooms that I got from him are 4th gen from his show tanks.

Re: 120 RR Update w/Pics

1-21-07 Update - Here are some photo links if any one wants to take a look.

This tank was set up exactly 8 months ago today. And, if any one wonders how Freckles the Red Scooter Blenny is doing - just take a look at his little rotund shape - he eats almost anything that goes into the tank with his supply of pods!

This link shows the full tank and the growth of the frags we have received from Coral Dynamics over the past 5 mos.
