| Golden Moray | from time to time, (every few months) my ro tank gets slimy. nasty slimey clearish goo on the sides the wires the heater everything under water. also there will be a line of nasty stuff on the side. does anyone have this problem as well, this is not from tds, Iver never red anything other then 0 output on the RODI, but could it be from covering it? could it be from maybe peace's of cat hair landing in it? maybe from geting contamanated stuff like the containor i dip in 2 it with? i have 3 buckets only 1 goes in. anyone have a tub here?

| Hey!Its not my fault ![]() | Re: RODI Tub q's Yea, I have that too... Just takes a rinsin and a good wiping down.. I have more of a problem in my Saltwater mixing bin than my RO Tub..

I store rodi all the time for weeks on end in a rubber maid, no issues.... next time it's empty take a very light solution of water and bleach, clean it throughly with the bleach water solution. After cleaning turn barrel upside down and let it dry. Then before use rinse one more time. I ALWAYS keep the lid on the barrel empty or full, there are lots of mold and algae spores in the air and it only takes one and optimum conditions for them to start. Also I would check your rodi water for Ammonia, Nitrates, Nitrites and Phosphates....
