fisrt off,,its a sebae, and its bleached. most likely it wont survive, i hate to say it but true. also, as i can understand the desire to save it, purchasing it most likely will encourage the LFS to order another one cause they sell. i commend for intentions, but i would reccommend finding out about something before purchase, that is the responsible course of action.

PS, sebae anemones like to be in the sand with their foot buried.

1.018 is awfully low for any inverts, and does nothing to ward off ich. Specific gravity for hyposalinity needs to be at 1.009 to accomplish that, and I don't think ANY inverts can survive that low...
That COULD explain why that sebae anemone is so badly bleached...

dont think its gonna make it, looks like its starting to shed a outter skin layer of the foot.

doesnt seem to want to attach to anything,

geting blown around pritty ruff, i moved it to a spot that has the lest amount of movement, if it wants to go somewhere its gonna have to prove moveing out of that caveish thing.

i shut the power heads off about an hour ago for 5 min, so see if the little legs were moveing.

question, when a anonome is dead will the tentcals move still occasionally (not from flow)

i really dont want it to hurt my tank, but i cant determin if its dead or not,

the tentacals were moveing a little ever few seconds, so theres something going on,

i will check this in the morning, and see if it has moved

b4 it seemed to just get blown around.

the tank it was in had like no flow.

at least ill have 9$ credit when this is over................... i hope it lives its cool

when it is dead it will be a slimey ole blob.. is it still intact? Also it should be sticky to the touch? If it is slimey it wont beable to hold and grab food or attach to rocks

I have been told that they really stink when they die.
Can you get it to the surface and give it the smell test?
Apparently the smell is really bad so you should be able to tell.
