need some help..

We had a storm roll through while ago and our power flickered on and right back on. Of course my halides went off and after cooling down 1 side fired right back up. The other side will not fire back up. I have 2 less than 3 month old single 250w E ballast from CoralVue. They are on timers. One side is fine. I even took the bulb out and tried another old bulb thinking maybe the bulb was blown out. Nope it won't fire up either.

Does this sound like it blew my ballast??

TIA..

Re: need some help..

sweet, glad to hear it. what a relief huh.

o just a FYI your fuse on the ballast should be on the ballast. somewhere near the plug wire. it should have a twist cap. just incase you ever have to replace it in the future. at least you will know where it is.

o again. one last thing. not sure what timer you have but some have a trip or fuse of there own. might be able to rest it. something you mihgt want to look into before you go out and buy another.

Re: need some help..

Trust me, I know the feeling.
Nothing like knowing someone will try to help at pretty much any time. RS has come through for me more than once in a crisis.
Not sure if you tried or not, but frequently there is someone in chat as well that will try to help. Post regardless, since lots of people don't chat and the rest of us get to learn that way as well.
