| Reef Lobster | anyone messed around with surge devices in my interminable boredom at work today, i came across reverse carlson surge devices, as well as carlson surge devices. anyone ever played around with these? they look intriguing.

| Totally stoked dude ![]() | Re: anyone messed around with surge devices We had one at a tide pool tank when I was interning at the state aquarium. I didn't build or design it. All I know is that it was very loud but moved tons of water. Sorry not much help They are cool if you have a place to put one.

| Reef Lobster | Re: anyone messed around with surge devices yeah... i was more thinking of one for a future tank, although i've heard you can use the reverse ones on pretty much any size tank... it's a nice alternative to having all those pumps. i guess like the tunze box and wave2k do the same thing, but those have power/belts, etc. the RCSD just uses an air pump.
