New additions

So, yesterday I drove to this guy's house that was tearing out his tank and wanted someone to adopt his fish. I only went for one fish since I believed the others were spoken for, but turns out nobody else had contacted him. He insisted I take them all, and since I had the room and couldn't resist the fish, I did.

These fish are the fattest and most healthy looking fish I have seen in a long time. Much more than any of mine for sure.

The queen angel was in a SPS tank and was a model citizen except for open brain corals. This fish is simply breath-taking. The powder blue is simply gorgeous. This thing is huge too. I don't think you can really tell the size of it from the pictures. He is 1.5" across the belly alone and about 7" long. The gold banded maroon is very docile actually and about 3-4 times the size of mine. As soon as it went into the tank it paired up with mine.
The cardinal is pretty big too.

That reminds me of the Queen I had in my FOT , they are just awesome. They are easy to take care of and the color is just unbelievable. I have not seen a powder blue in that good of shape or size except at a public aquarium.

Alberto, I used to work in a LFS which had over 1 million gallons of salt water, (no joke) in Hawaii. (Coral Fish Hawaii for those so interested) , and I've seen many thousands of fish and have been jaded to an ugly degree about these critters, (much like you and level 3 intubation, which btw I got on the first try @ my anasthesia clinical back in paramedic school before I deicided to become a police officer... Its not like I'm braggin about my skill, just lucky), and I have never seen a powder blue or a queen angel that looked that good!! PLease tell me you got the cleaner wrasse in the tank as well if it was doing good!!!!!

Guys:

Thanks for the comments. They are truly breath-taking.

Maxx:

About a year ago, I had a major fish crash where I lost all my fish due to a flame angel I introduced that looked very healthy, but brought marine velvet with him. It killed every fish in my tank within 2 days.

I started adding fish about 6 weeks later. I ahve had a pair of cleanner wrasses since then. They have done very well and eat my prepared foods too. When I first got them, I didn't know they were impossible to keep. Go figure.
