| Tunicate | Nano Lighting Hey everyone! I have a question about lighting for my tank....what would be a good upgrade for what I have and for what I would like? (Which would be about 3 more corals) I would like to achieve a bright, vivid tank. Thank you in advance for any ideas or suggestions... 24g Nano Cube Coral Beauty Clown Yellow Tang Purple Firefish Pearly Jawfish Pumping Xenia Bulb Tip Anenome |

| Elegance coral ![]() | Re: Nano Lighting Do you have the Std PC lighting (72 watts) on your nano cube? There are clip on halide lights from JBJ or you can purchase a retro kit to add more PC lighting. I have to mention you have alot of fish in that small of a tank. What are your nitrate levels at?

| Tunicate | Re: Nano Lighting Just to augment the last reply - I reckon the best light to get for the size of the tank, especially considering that you wish to add more corals, would be the clip on halide light mentioned in the last thread. I have seen it advertised and seems pretty cool. Then again, if you are like me, you can't go wrong with serious lighting, such as a halide pendant, but that may cast too much ambient light around the room. Hope this helps PS Not to be a wet blanket, but from my experience your tank may be a bit small for a yellow tang, personal choice I suppose, but would keep it in mind |
