Another Plumbing question :)

How man 3/4 outputs would I need for a sequence dart pump ( 3400gal/hr)
I plan on haveing a 1 1/2" pipe up the back with 1 1/2 loop that goes around the perimiter of the top of the tank and T off that with 3/4 lock lines. Would 5 be to many?

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Re: Another Plumbing question :)

I have a 120gal and the dart is being used for a closed loop. Was thinking using locline in the 4 corners and 1 twards the middle.

I have a similar Calfo style closed manifold. You can always put extra outputs and cap them for later use if need be. I went thru 3 different designs before I was happy with it! What diameter pipe are you using for the intake? Let us know how it goes!

Re: Another Plumbing question :)

I'm using 1 1/2" ourund the perimiter and the reducing to 3/4 for the loc line in to the tank. I was thinking of drilling 1" holes in the brace to pass the loc line threw. Intake to the dart is 2" supplied by 2 1 1/2 bulkheads. Place an order fo 50' of 1 1/2" flex pvc today for about $1 a foot if any one is interested. http://www.bullfrogpondsupplies.com/sp1550.html
