ZOOs looking rough

Is this guy dead or what, it appears to be melting.

weird thing is he is in the tank right next to this one

How long have you had this zoo? What type of lighting do you have? Is it located in close proximity to another coral?

Hey mempho

tough question on the age of the tank.

I got the entire contents from a guy that had it set up for some time, more than a year, cant be more specifc than that. We did the entire move with everything packed nicely in his tank water and then acclimated all of it to mine. I dont know how old this particualr frag is.

All of my parameters are good, using a 48in 8 bulb t5 ho setup 4 10000k and 4 actinics. tatal of about 432watts on a 55gal tank

Only thing I can think of is he might have been to high in the tank.

Yeah, stalwart if his/her acclimated lighting changed that could have an impact on it. Can the previous owner give you an idea of its original position or height in the tank and what type of lighting was it under? If not, you might want to position it on the bottom of the tank for a couple of days and see if it opens a bit more then gradually move it up and into the position that you want it in.
