| Dragon Moderator ![]() | Re: starfish in anemone!! If the starfish was inside the anemone's mouth then it was a bad idea to pull it out. I understand that you wanted to save the starfish however there is a good chance that you could have serously injured the anemone by removing something from it's mouth. Unfortunately it could be months before the anemone shows any signs of something wrong because they have such a slow motabolism. They are extremely delicate creatures and even small damages could spell disaster for this normally very long lived animal. There is nothing that you can really do about it now except keep the water quality up, but for future reference, please don't remove anything from an anemones mouth. I don't know if the starfish will make it.

| Hey!Its not my fault ![]() | Re: starfish in anemone!! So sorry to hear about that... Its hard to tell and I hope it pulls through.. anemones have a nasty sting.
