| Cabbage Leather | Anemone question I have a GBTA that has been in my tank for about 5months when i got it, it was the size of a tennis ball now almost 8 inches across. color is good and it is healthy here is my problem. The only way i can see it is from the back lower corner of the tank it has never been exposed to my lighting other than the glare that is reflected from the sides of the tank. So what could be causing this silly behavior and should i just leave it alone? it annoys me because from what i can tell it looks very nice but you would never know its there if i didnt tell you. any advice would help thanks.

| Torch coral | Re: Anemone question i think the little fella has just found a comfy spot much to his liking. if you wanted to flush him out you could change the conditions in that part of the tank (i.e. more current, light) however, i think i would let him be.

| Sea Pen | Re: Anemone question i agree with kenny i have a white sabatie anemone and prior to moving it was huge like a 8" disc but since the move it has slowly deteriorated to the size of a racket ball i would not distrub it i keep many critters and find anemone's to be one of the hardest but thats just for me |

| Elegance coral | Re: Anemone question This is a little bitter sweet. Most people would love their anemone to stay in one place..... But yours has decided on a place where it is not easily seen. I you want to bother him and maybe make him peek out a little you could try to put a rock on his usual spot that he get his light from. This may force him to relocate to a brighter spot. I do not recomend moving him by hand, but if you distrupt his "nice spot" he may move to a new location, or just strech out for more light.... Could work...

| Cabbage Leather | Re: Anemone question I have no intention of moving him it just strikes me as odd that such a "light loving" creature would chooseto hide himself the way he does. My figuring was eventually he would get hungry and maybe move but since hes been there so long i guess thas a no go oh well i know hes there and hes healthy he'll move eventually i hope Thanks guys.
