Post Substrates

Well i went to product reviews to see what reviews people have given on certain substrates. Well now I want to what type of sand you use; (i.e. aragalive, south down, etc, etc....), or what one you think is the best; (i.e. particle size, not collecting much detrious <-- spelling -->, etc, etc....)

Re: Substrates

picking the substrate is huge. dont think many will reply because it all depends on what your doing with it. ssb, dsb, plenum or just for looks. here is a interesting article i found while debating this same question. this e part two. long read but the mortality rate among different subsrate is interesting. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2005/7/aafeature
