Re: PH probe

I have a PinPoint PH monitor... love it! It is nice to see the ph measurement at a glance and to the hundreth~~ Mine is battery operated (9volt) and it lasts for a long time. They do have the AC adapters for it. Make sure to order the 5 and 10 ph calibration fluids for it. Get several packs since you'll need to recalibrate it ever few months. The packs are only $1 or so and the shipping is $5... so stock up during the initial purchase!

BTW... my new Reefkeeper2 monitors ph now. I do need a new probe though. They should be replaced every 16 months I think.

Ohhhh... never let the probe end dry out!

We have the same one. Only difference is we have ours plugged in with the AC Adapter. I works great!

Re: PH probe

They are great! As mentioned above, buy the callibration fluid as well. I run mine on a battery. Some people have had trouble with the adapter due to electrical interference. I think it's usually caused by the lighting.
