Re: Crabs Are Evil Society

Then I guess you shudder at the thought of those Hermit Crab Habitats that seem to be all the rage then?

Unfortunately I can't point to any incidence of hermit horror as my tank has been crab free for 4+ years thereby limiting my exposure and personal experience with these supposedly evil creatures. (Had them for two years but returned them to the LFS when I emptied my tank to deal with a marine velvet outbreak.)

Re: Crabs Are Evil Society

Hmm, that is a grey area as I didn't get rid of them because I thought they were evil per say, but didn't get more of them afterwards just because I didn't want them in my tank, went with a couple more snails instead when I started stocking the tank again and decided that it was more important to clean the tank myself rather then rely on scavengers.

I guess you are going to have to make an executive decision on if that qualifies or not.

Re: Crabs Are Evil Society

Already have my tag.
Not sure about the "evil" part, but snail killers they most certainly are. Gave 20 to the lfs this week and probably 20 more next week. That should make my tank crab free. (I got rid of the large ones first now I just have really small ones so I figured I could do it in stages.)
Soon to have a "crab free" tank and much safer snails.

Peace
Lynn

Talking Humans Are Evil Society

I am not evil! Good and evil are terms that can only be properly applied to you humans. I just follow my instincts and do my thing. I have no connections to any evil forces nor do I have any evil intent. I am however misunderstood and abused by you humans regularly, so if you want to start labeling things as evil you need to point those fingers at your selves. Imagine the nerve of a creature that drags me out of the ocean, puts me on display in a cage, and then calls me evil when I start to do my normal thing.
