| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Return pump Lots of good choices. Iwaki, Blueline, Little Giant.... Is this ONLY going to be a return pump? Not going to "T" off of it to run a skimmer or chiller? What is (are) your overflow(s) rated for? One? 2? Bulkhead size? IMO, if you push 1000-1500 gph thru your sump, you're doing fine for a tank that size. Supplement the rest of the recommended flow with powerheads, closed loop, Tunze streams, or Seio's. Too many people make the mistake of trying to push their entire tank total flow thru the sump. MUCH easier to only have 7-10X thru the sump, and get the rest of your flow elsewhere...
