| Manta Ray ![]() | Please Help!!!! I currently have a 24g nanocube dx with a good amount of things in it, listed at bottom. I really feel like a protein skimmer will help me out, however everywhere i go people are saying that i can not fit one in the back chambers of the nanocube or that i will have to remove the top lid. is there any way around this, i would rather not buy the fission skimmer for i hear it is no good. Does any one know if it is possible to remove the back of the lid of a nano so i dont have to purchase new lights???? any help will be greatly greatly appreciated. thank you. i was looking at the tunze 9002 and the aqua c remora, but i dont know what to do -jason |

| Manta Ray ![]() | Re: Please Help!!!! ok everyone, i finally have figured out what to do. i have had some help from the help desk at marinedepot.com,they have been very helpful and even talked me out of a more expensive skimmer. I am going to get the aqua c remora for my 24 gallon, and cut off just the top of the left side chamber, where the sponge filter goes, by doing this it will allow for space for the skimmer and will be an easy mod. thank for your suggestions as well -jason ![]() |
