| Tunicate | you lucky people!! hi.. ive got to admit you folks across the pond are so lucky when it comes to equipment. over here in the uk the range of reefkeeping equipment is quite limited. its mainly tunze and deltec which are really pricey. everytime i read tfh i drool over the range of stuff that youve got. the pages are stuffed with adverts for the latest stuff. just out of interest how much is say a basic, midrange and high end skimmer? im curious cos it might be worth me mail ordering and sorting out a transformer |

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: you lucky people!! Well, I have to agree that Tunze and Deltec are spendy, but this is one of those times where you are getting your money's worth. VERY high quality products. Have you tried e-bay? I surfed the UK and German E-bay sites a while back, and was amazed at how cheap those and H&S skimmers were. Unfortunately, swapping the pumps to use our electrical grid would have negated any savings I might have realized, so I didn't buy, but WOW...LOTS cheaper than they are here...
